About You:

Can you share a moment of triumph or success that you’re particularly proud of?
I hold a BS degree in Registered Nursing in the state of California.

What was one of the happiest moments of your life so far?
Starting and growing my family, I am very blessed with 3 beautiful children and a wonderfully supportive husband.

Looking back on your life, what’s a lesson you’ve learned that has stayed with you?
I always think of one of my favorite quotes, “One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it’s guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go.” It’s true change isn’t always easy but is often times a necessity to get you to where you’re supposed to be.

Your Thoughts on Aging:

Are there any myths you would like to bust about being over 40, 50, 60 or 70?
You can still successfully get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy and baby after 40!

Future Aspirations:

What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re determined to accomplish and what’s your favorite thing you’ve checked off?
Travel is definitely on my list of future aspirations. Looking forward to getting myself and our family out to explore more of the world and its different cultures.

What is the one piece of advice you would give your 20 something self?
Always keep an open mind! the goal is to have fun, explore, be kind, be happy, live a full life that you can be proud of…and take lots of pictures along the way.

Your Fabulous Over 40 Portrait Experience:

How did the photoshoot make you feel during and after the session?
I did the photo shoot with my darling mother and it was a very memorable experience. To see both of us in those beautiful headshots and to see us together in the keepsake photos, makes me think back on all we have accomplished over the years; together and separately. I’m so grateful to have her as a mother and mentor. She will forever be the voice in my head that helps guide me along the way. I’m looking forward to the next decade milestone photo shoot for the two of us!
