Hi! I’m Julie.

I honestly believe I have the best job in the world! As a Portrait Photographer, I get to help you bring out your beauty and personality, stop time ever so briefly to capture that in a photograph and give you the ability to relive that feeling, every time you look at your portraits.

My number one goal during the process is to make sure you have fun and enjoy the experience. My team and I are here to guide you through every step of the process from choosing what to wear, how to prepare and posing you from your nose to your toes, so you can be relaxed and confident on the day of your portrait session. After all, it’s really all about you!

But, if you really want to know a little bit about me, I’ve had a camera in my hand since childhood and been obsessed with photography ever since. I enjoy travel, am totally addicted to coffee and shoes and love hanging out with my husband, Chris, usually camping or boating. I started Julie Hood Photography in 2017 and it’s been one of the best decisions of my life.
